We’re home to industry-leading, digitally native brands Coverstore and Leatherology.The Email & SMS Marketing Strategist develops and executes the strategy behind our promotional, triggered, and transactional email & SMS programs—ensuring accurate, timely, and consistent communications across both brands. This role helps shape customer retention and lifecycle marketing efforts, contributes to channel performance reporting and growth, and troubleshoots issues as they arise.This is a hybrid position working 3 days a week in the Carrollton, TX office.Duties & ResponsibilitiesDevelop Channel Strategy: Translate business goals into actionable email and SMS strategies. Manage the setup and implementation of all campaigns and automated programs—marketing, triggered, and transactional—ensuring timely, accurate launches that serve a clear purpose.Uncover Insights & Opportunities: Assist with weekly and monthly campaign planning, identifying trends across programs and synthesizing data into opportunities and roadmap recommendations.Design Lifecycle & Contact Journeys: Develop contact strategies across email, SMS, and push-defining the sequencing, segmentation, and personalization for each journey, including marketing, triggered, and transactional touchpoints.Drive Cross-Functional Execution: Collaborate with marketing, design, and tech teams to update templates per best practices and brand standards, and to ensure strategy is clearly understood and effectively executed during the build phase.Measure & Optimize Performance: Own the testing roadmap and track how channel performance impacts business outcomes.
