The Senior Channel Marketer analyzes retail sales data and channel activity to identify market trends and opportunities. The Senior Channel Marketer interprets data to offer recommendations for the development of channel marketing strategies. The Senior Channel Marketer leads large projects to drive incremental revenue and margin growth. ย The Senior Channel Marketer develops new product and promotional tools to develop customer categories. The Senior Channel Marketer creates analyses to manage existing business and identify margin improvements. The Senior Channel Marketer develops sales forecasting reports.ย 

This role is based in our Mooresville, North Carolina office and follows a hybrid work schedule. This channel category is focused onย core fasteners and construction fastening products within the home improvement and retail industry.

Essential Job Functions *

ย 

  • Leads: Leads two to three specific categories and channels, partnering cross functionally to meet business objectives.
  • Is the go-to expert to creatively resolve problems.
  • Channel Support: Participates in the development and delivery of customer presentations, line reviews and new program opportunities. Focus on creating promotional opportunities for sales organization.
  • Marketing Liaison/Support: Communicates regularly with the Sales staff to provide information, answer questions, and assist with issues within the retail channel. Project management for customer tasks is routine for this position.
  • Market Plan Development/Management: Develops, implements, and monitors marketing plans and promotions to ensure the achievement of objectives.
  • Market Research: Coordinates ongoing market and competitive research to identify consumer needs as well as understand the changes in the industry to improve the companyโ€™s position in the marketplace.
  • Establishes and oversees effective pricing strategies, using market-based pricing analysis.
  • Business Acumen: Recommends solutions that result in positive margin and revenue impact. Has a solid understanding of profit and loss statements and key sales metrics to drive profit growth.
  • Summarizes key financial information for decisions based on analytical insights
