Title: Strategic Channel Manager - Aesthetics

Location: Remote US

Job Summary

Strategic Channel Manager position is responsible for managing end-to-end sales activities for all inside sales. This main priority of this role is managing and leading the Inside Sales Representatives (ISR) to achieve individual and company sales objectives. Additionally, this role will improve the development, efficiency, targeting, communications, and productivity of our contracted inside sales team helping drive Aesthetic business demand and work closely and partner with other functions to improve customer experiences. This position will require field travel and close interactions with the Regional Sales Managers, Marketing, McKesson, Sales Force Effectiveness, and Analytics departments.

Key Responsibilities

Inside Sales

  • Provide leadership and direction overseeing a team of 10+ Inside Sales Representatives (IRS) who are responsible for training, educating and developing aesthetic customers.

  • Coach, council and develop representatives on buy and bill, direct selling techniques and market strategies to expand product demand

  • Conduct Monthly Operating Reviews with all ISR direct reports.

  • Responsible for the aesthetic dollar sales and product growth for an assigned geography/area.

  • Execute corporate marketing strategies, strategically utilize resources, and effectively prioritize activities and projects.

  • Monitor and analyze productivity of the team; generate analytical reports; compile status and work-volume reports for management.

  • Work closely with Area and Regional Sales leadership teams, the aesthetics sales force, and cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution of pull-through strategies, marketing campaigns, customer and physician loyalty programs, and sampling programs.

  • Manage the recruiting, hiring, and training process as well as the ongoing development of Inside Sales Representatives.

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to create optimal customer experience and employee engagement.

Customer Experience

  • Participate in meetings with marketing, training, sales planning and analytics and customer operations, providing solutions to increase operational efficiencies and overall customer experience.

  • Generate and provide monthly updates and reports regarding progress, activities and actions taken regarding overall Customer Experience and customer related initiatives.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university required.

  • Minimum of six (6) years of medical device sales experience required, preferably in direct sales, B2B or specialty pharmaceuticals or field management experience.

  • Proven ability to interact effectively with both internal and external customers

  • Previous injectable and aesthetic sales experience preferred.

  • Strong consultative selling skills and proven capability to close sales.

  • Strong, established working relationships with local Plastic Surgeons, Facial Plastic Surgeons, Dermatologists, Oculoplastic Surgeons and other Cosmetic practices highly preferred.

  • Documented and consistent high-level performance within a sales organization and delivering on/exhibiting sales related competencies.

  • Prior experience developing and implementing an effective territory business plan required.

  • Proven ability to develop new business through prospecting and cold calling.

  • Ability to build strong professional relationships, establish credibility and rapport with customers.

  • Ability to implement and execute key marketing strategies.

  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.

  • Ability to effectively manage field assets and resources to include, but not limited to, expense management, computer and other allocated equipment.

  • Strong sense of urgency and demonstrated success in a high-pressure sales role Highly developed verbal and written communication skills.

  • Proficiency with MS Excel, Word, Power point, Adobe and similar software.

  • Ability to travel- estimated at 40%.

About the Compensation:

The base salary range for this role is determined based on several factors. These include but are not limited to job accountabilities; skill sets; experience and training; certifications; work location; competitive market rates and other business needs. At Galderma, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on a unique combination of factors for each role. A reasonable estimate of the hiring range for this role is $135,000 - $150,000.

In addition to base salary, we provide an opportunity to participate in a competitive commission plan. We offer a competitive and comprehensive benefits program including health insurance, 401(k) plan with employer match, a generous paid time off policy, hybrid work schedules and more.
