Position Purpose:
As a L.L. Bean Guide, you'll be the heartbeat of our brand-new Flagship store, delivering world-class service with a smile. You'll be the face of the L.L.Bean brand, engaging customers, keeping our store in tip-top shape, and fostering a spirit of teamwork. Your role will be ever-changing and exciting, working in multiple areas, and adapting to the needs of the day while showcasing your product knowledge, processing skills and/or service expertise. Flagship Store Front of House Positions (sales floor, registers):
  • Use PCs, Point Of Sale, answering outside phone calls, and mobile devices to provide seamless, fast omni-channel service.
  • Actively approach and assist multiple customers, providing personal and genuine service interactions.
  • Drive excitement around L.L.Bean sponsored programs, including Outdoor Discovery Program and the L.L.Bean Mastercard program.
  • Ensure a well-organized store, uphold visual and merchandising standards, and support store operations processes.

Flagship Store Back Of House Positions (operations, replenishment):

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Retail Merchandise Pickup Center- Working in a warehouse environment to support the Retail Campus Stores
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Able to perform basic and repetitive computer functions alone with the ability to learn new computer systems
  • Ability to multitask and/or change tasks frequently
  • Able to answer internal phone calls from the campus retail stores
  • Ability to load furniture and other large, bulky items into customer vehicles

L.L.Bean uses a market-based compensation approach. The anticipated starting base pay for this position is $16.10 - $20.00.
