We are hiring immediately for a full-time Sservice Manager in Gillette WY. Our Spencer Fluid Power shop in Gillette is the regional repair and fabrication shop for the northwest branches. We repair mechanical and hydraulic drives for the industrial market. We also build hydraulic systems that are designed by our engineering department in Gillette, WY.

What you'll do:
Manage and lead / participate in day-to-day service center operations. This position reports directly to our Branch Manager.
  • Hire, train, and develop service center personnel
  • As manager you would be responsible for our shop operations and customer satisfaction as follows:
  • Manage the service requests/work and correspondence with our account managers and customers
  • Manage and support the repair quotes and purchasing process.
  • Quote specialty repair jobs and publish service reports as required.
  • Maintain a job schedule seeing to the details of the repairs and any vendor sourcing required.
  • Manage shop procedures, productivity and crew levels as needed.
  • Monitor shop costs, job efficiencies and profits.
  • Assist with warranty issues

Qualifications:
Build a team. Your mission is to meet / exceed service and customer satisfaction goals by developing a productive, positive environment where associates want to succeed and grow personally and as a team.
  • 2+ yrs mechanical repair and customer service
  • Leadership required. Management experience preferred
  • Use of proper English grammar, written and verbal
  • Computer skills including Excel, Word. ERP / P1 a plus
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • HS Diploma or Equivalent
  • This position is not eligible for relocation benefits and is expected to be performed on site.
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the US. We are not able to offer sponsorship of work visas for this position.
