What you'll do
Become part of an iconic brand that is set to revolutionize the electric pick-up truck & rugged SUV marketplace by achieving the following:
  • Analyze existing processes to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities.
  • Develop and document scalable, repeatable workflows that align with business goals and compliance requirements.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (e.g., Main system teams, engineering, purchasing, production) to standardize processes across the organization.
  • Develop linkages between hardware and software change management processes
  • Use data and metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of processes and recommend solutions.
  • Create comprehensive training materials, including guides, job aids, and visual process maps
  • Onboard new team members through structured training programs focused on process understanding and execution.
  • Assess training effectiveness using feedback, performance data, and knowledge checks.
  • Leverage processes standards within the VW Group and adopt best practices for Scout
  • Maintain up-to-date process documentation in central knowledge repositories.
  • Ensure clarity, consistency, and accessibility of process content across all teams.
  • Develop templates, frameworks, and best-practice documentation standards.
  • Provide process and tool support to all users

Location & Travel Expectations:
  • This role will be based out of the Scout Motors location in Novi, Michigan
  • This role requires 4-5 days per week in the office, with regular in-person meetings and events.
  • Applicants should expect that the role will require the ability to convene with Scout colleagues in person and travel to participate in events on behalf of the company from time to time.

  • Education/Certifications: A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
  • Years of Experience required in type of role: 5-7 years of experience in an automotive environment, preferably in a Change Coordination or Program Management role.
  • Communication: Strong communication skills - interpersonal, presentation and written w/ ability to guide cross-functional teams to successfully meet deadlines
  • Proven track record of being a part of automotive projects from concept phase to series production
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple project teams simultaneously and meet deadlines
  • Excellent strategic thinking and criteria-based decision-making skills
  • Proven (technical) problem solving skills
  • Experience with VW Group processes and tools (preferred)

Pay Transparency
This is a full-time, exempt position eligible to receive a base salary and to participate in an annual performance bonus program. Final salary offered will be determined based on factors including but not limited to the candidate's skills and experience. The annual performance bonus program is preset and not candidate dependent.
Initial base salary range = $110,000.00 - $135,000.00
