Overview

For one of our automotive manufacturing clients in the U.S. (major O.E.M) in South Carolina we are looking for a Launch and Change Coordinator (m/f/d).

This position will provide comprehensive coordination supporting our clients in process and new vehicle launch engineering change management activities. The L/C Coordinator leads the process team to ensure when a change is implemented, the parts / information are available on time, every time. This is a key position in the plant and requires a high level of excellence, attention to detail and an inquisitive approach. You are the main point of contact for change communication, ensuring all stakeholders are aware and prepared for the implementation.

Your Tasks – What you can achieve with us

  • Direct and coordinate all activities within the production plant of our client related to the implementation of engineering changes
  • Drive launch and model introduction processes from engineering release to stable series production
  • Ensure BOM Quality is managed to the highest standards
  • Steer projects and cross-functional teams
  • Evaluate engineering releases and deviations
  • Provide guidance and training to process partners on the launch and change management systems and processes
  • Identify and implement improvements of the engineering change process of our client

Your Profile – What you bring to the table

  • University degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field
  • 3+ years of relevant professional experience
  • Proven experience managing projects and steering cross-functional teams
  • Hands-on experience in automotive engineering or industrial production environments
  • Strong ability to manage complex interfaces across functions
  • Confident communication and facilitation skills
  • Advanced MS Office skills
  • International experience and German language skills are a plus
