Job description

Apps Associates is looking for an AppsChange Lead to drive the people side of Oracle transformation engagements. This is fundamentally a relationship and influence role: someone who builds real allies across the project team and the client organization, earns buy-in fast, and finds the next valuable way in when scope gets cut rather than waiting to be told where to go. You'll operate with autonomy, adapt quickly as engagements shift under you, and be genuinely well-liked without ever being a pushover.

  • Lead change management strategy and execution across complex, multi-stakeholder Oracle transformation engagements
  • Build genuine relationships with the project team and client stakeholders across Finance, IT, HR, and Operations
  • Communicate with clarity and confidence at every level, from executive steering committees to end users, and move people to buy-in quickly
  • Identify, activate, and sustain change champion networks that carry adoption forward after go-live
  • Insert into the engagement in a valuable way when a workstream is descoped, rather than waiting to be told where to go
  • Apply Kotter's 8-step model (or equivalent) and build practical tools clients actually use: stakeholder maps, change impact assessments, communications plans
  • Own the commercial health of your workstream — scope, hours, and the value you're delivering
  • Partner with delivery leads so change management reads as connective tissue to the project, not a separate lane
  • 5+ years leading organizational change management on ERP, HCM, Oracle Cloud, or similar large-scale enterprise system transformations
  • Proven ability to build trust and influence stakeholders quickly, without relying on formal authority
  • Strong communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences, and across functions (Finance, IT, HR, Operations)
  • Comfortable operating with autonomy in ambiguous, fast-changing environments
  • Working knowledge of Kotter's methodology, Prosci, or an equivalent structured change framework
  • A track record of adapting when project scope or priorities shift, and finding the next valuable contribution rather than waiting for direction
PLUSES
  • Kotter Certification or Prosci Certification
  • Experience delivering change management within Finance, IT, HR, or Operations functions specifically
  • Familiarity with EasyGenerator, Smartsheet, Scribe, or similar content and tracking tools
  • Experience identifying and packaging out-of-scope work into change orders
