Position Overview: *Contingent Upon Contract Award*ย Has the overall responsibility to provide planning, coordination, and supervision of the local training department; initial and ongoing training and development of the Security Officer Guard Force at DEN.ย ย 

The successful candidate will be:

  • Security-minded, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective in communicating with employees, clients, and law enforcement or government agencies.
  • Experienced in applying security management protocols to ensure compliance and safety.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for conducting aviation security training for airport new hire employees
  • Responsible for conducting aviation security in-service training for current airport employees
  • Assisting with maintaining accurate, and up to date training reports and certificates and for all airports
  • Liaise with company airport managers and administrators to follow up on various training department needs
  • Assisting with the entry of training payroll hours and compliance updates in our internal system
  • Assist in the development and execution of company training courses
  • Liaise with various departments in HDQ where necessary (notable Human Resources/Recruiting, Compliance, Operations and Finance) to maintain internal workflow
  • Assist in the field with airport quality assurance audits and spot checks
  • Assist with special projects and business continuity as needed
  • Detailed experience in managing people and processes
  • A proactive thinker with an outgoing personality who can use that personality speaking to groups and leading staff
  • HS Diploma or Equivalent
  • Bachelorโ€™s Degree in Aviation Management, Security Management, or a closely related field is preferred
  • One (1) year site-specific experience at DEN or an airport regulated pursuant to 49 CFR Part 1542
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Must have intrapersonal skills and be able to communicate effectively at various social levels across many diverse cultures
  • Willing and able to participate in a drug test (either pre-employment or random) with negative results
  • Pass a 10-year verifiable background check (employment, education, criminal and personal references)
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain an Airport issued identification badge distributed by local the airport authority and (potentially obtain a US Customโ€™s seal).
  • Successfully pass all training provided by the Company and the Airport
  • Experienced in general office computers and equipment applications
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office and Outlook with experience working in various applications
  • A.C.E certification preferred

Language Skills:ย English Proficiency required (reading, writing, and speaking)
