Director of Clinical Services

Job Summary:

Vertus HealthCare is a Medicare Certified home health agency servicing Palm Beach County, is seeking a dedicated and experienced RN Director of Clinical Services to join our team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the clinical operations of our home health agency, ensuring the highest level of quality care for our patients. Responsibilities:

• Develops, plans, implements, analyzes, and organizes clinical operations to ensure the highest level of quality care for patients
• Conducts and delegates assessments and reassessments of patients, updates care plans, and interprets patient needs
• Manages the assignment of caregivers and ensures the delivery of quality home care services
• Oversees the delivery of care to all patients served by the location, ensuring compliance with regulatory agencies and requirements of third-party payers
• Evaluates staff performance, identifies areas for improvement, and implements corrective actions
• Analyzes situations, identifies problems, and evaluates alternative courses of action through the utilization of Performance Improvement principles
• Maintains ongoing clinical knowledge through internal and external training programs and provides interpretation of knowledge and direction to staff
• Participates in performance improvement activities, maintains relationships with referral/community sources, and conducts care-related programs
• Performs other related duties as assigned or requested

Required Experience/Skills:

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• Current state license as a Registered Nurse
• Proof of current CPR
• Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation
• Two years as a Registered Nurse with at least one year of management experience in a home care, hospice, or equivalent environment
