Chainsaw Helper Jobs (NOW HIRING)

We are seeking a highly energetic and thrill-seeking individual to join our team as a Chainsaw Zipliner at our renowned Scream Park. As a Chainsaw Zipliner, you will be responsible for providing an exhilarating and memorable experience to our guests by combining the adrenaline rush of a haunted attraction, with the terrifying presence of a chainsaw-wielding performer. This role requires exceptional showmanship, physical stamina, and a commitment to ensuring the safety and enjoyment of our guests.

Responsibilities:

• Perform chainsaw ziplining stunts: Safely operate a chainsaw while ziplining through designated courses, entertaining and thrilling guests with your presence and performance.
• Create a memorable experience: Engage with guests in a frightening but safe manner, evoking a sense of excitement, fear, and entertainment as you zip through the park.
• Ensure guest safety: Conduct thorough safety checks and inspections of equipment before each run, adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines to mitigate risks and ensure a secure experience for guests.
• Uphold performance standards: Maintain a high level of performance and professionalism while showcasing your skills as a chainsaw zipliner, delivering consistent and captivating performances that meet the park's quality standards.
• Collaborate with the team: Work closely with other performers and park staff to coordinate performances, schedules, and safety procedures, fostering a positive and cohesive team environment.
• Maintain equipment: Reporting any issues or concerns to the appropriate supervisor regarding upkeep of chainsaws, safety gear, and ziplining equipment, 

Qualifications:

• Previous performance experience: Demonstrated experience in live entertainment, stage performance, or similar fields is highly desirable. Experience with chainsaw handling or outdoor adventure activities is a plus.
• Physical fitness: Possess a high level of physical fitness, as this role requires ziplining, climbing, and performing physically demanding tasks while carrying a chainsaw.
• Excellent showmanship: Strong presence, charisma, and the ability to captivate and entertain guests through your performance.
• Safety-conscious: Prioritize the safety of yourself and others, adhering to safety guidelines and procedures at all times.
• Strong communication skills: Effective verbal communication and interpersonal skills to interact with guests and team members in a professional and engaging manner.
• Flexibility and adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing schedules and requirements.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, as the haunted house operates during these peak times.**
• Minimum age requirement: Must be at least 18 years old due to the physical demands and nature of the role.

Our 2026 Operating Dates:

• August: 22, 23, 24, 28, & 29
• September: 4, 5, 11, 12, 13, 17, 18, 19, 20, & 24–30
• October: 1–31
• November: 1

Please note: From September 24 through November 1, Scream-A-Geddon operates continuously on scheduled event nights, making full availability during this period highly preferred.

Actor Training & Job Fair Dates:

July: 15, 18, 22, 25, & 29

August: 1, 5, 8, 12, 15, & 19

This position involves working in an environment designed to induce fear and may require working evenings, weekends, and holidays. It is essential to be comfortable with and capable of providing an intense, thrilling experience while maintaining safety as the utmost priority.
