CGS is seeking a skilledSecurity Supportย Specialist toย assist,ย monitor, and advise on all aspects of security activities.ย

Skills and attributes for success:ย 
- Plan andย assistย in implementation of security activities at the Top-Secret and higher classification to ensure USSOCOM personnel (Military, Civilians, and Contractors) and all supported tenant organizations are prepared toย operateย in non-traditional environments to perform critical contingency tasks.ย 
- Develop written technical approaches and methodologiesย regardingย security proposals.ย 

Qualifications:ย ย 
- Minimum of six (6) yearsย ofย Physical, Personnel and Special Security experience within the DoD or equivalent Government agenciesย required, with operational level experience preferred.ย 
- Extensive experience in compartmented programs in DoD, U.S. Intelligence community, or supporting U.S. Contractors to include PSIP, Access control, ACCM, and SAP/STO process.ย 
- Extensive experience in compartmentedย programsย integration and effects planning into the Joint or service-specific mission process.ย 
- Extensive experience supporting SCIF planning and accreditation, recertificationย processesย and procedures and familiar with the SCIF construction process as per the ICD 705 standard with Special Access Facility Accrediting Official Course Desired.ย 
- Must be capable of planning, structuring, and leading security training support for other security professionals.ย 
- Firsthand experience with Foreign Disclosure Officer and Foreign Disclosureย Representativeย actions and procedures.ย 
- Experience with personnel background investigations for collateral and special security clearance actions including:ย 
1.)ย Formulating and ensuring compliance with automated information systems security procedures.ย 
Suggesting, implementing, andย monitoringย compliance with special security policies and procedures.ย 
2.) ย Conducting and coordinating the training for special security representativesย 
3.)ย Performing as a liaison with Government and industrial security officials overseeing collateral and higher access and badge procedures.ย 
- Position requires experience in compartmented programs in the DoD, U.S. Intelligence Community or supporting U.S. Contractors.ย 
- Experience in security training or security inspections is highly desirable.ย 
- Experience briefing personnel on security practices, concepts, and programs.ย 
- Skilled in applying good judgment to resolve security issues.ย 
- Must have a working knowledge of security policies and procedures to include either National Industrial Security Program Supplement, DoD 5200.01 Volume 1-3, DoD 5200.02, or DoD 5105.21 Volumes 1-3.ย 
- Active DoD Top Secret/SCI.ย
