We are seeking an accomplished Not-for-Profit Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the financial strategy and operations of our organization. This executive role is vital in shaping fiscal policies, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving sustainable growth through strategic financial planning. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in corporate finance, risk management, and financial analysis within diverse sectors, including non-profit and governmental accounting. As a key member of senior leadership, the CFO will oversee all financial activities, foster stakeholder relationships, and uphold the organization's commitment to transparency and fiscal responsibility.

  • Develop and implement comprehensive financial strategies aligned with organizational goals to optimize revenue management, cost control, and profitability.
  • Oversee all aspects of financial accounting, including corporate, governmental, non-profit accounting standards such as GAAP, IFRS, IAS, ASC 606, and COSO frameworks.
  • Lead budgeting processes, financial forecasting, and fiscal management to ensure accurate financial planning and resource allocation.
  • Manage treasury functions including cash flow analysis, liquidity planning, risk assessment, and supply chain financing.
  • Supervise the preparation of detailed financial reports, interpret complex data for executive decision-making, and ensure compliance with regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Oversee internal controls related to SOX compliance and manage risk analysis initiatives to safeguard organizational assets.
  • Lead mergers & acquisitions activities by conducting due diligence, valuation analysis, negotiations, and integration planning.
  • Direct management of audit processes and ensure adherence to technical accounting standards such as GAAP and IFRS.
  • Oversee payroll management and expense control initiatives while maintaining effective cost management strategies.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by mentoring finance teams in financial report writing, analysis skills, and technical accounting practices.

Requirements
• 5-10 years relevant experience in senior leadership roles
• Bachelors degree or higher education in finance, accounting or economic principles
• Extensive knowledge of financial concepts including profit & loss management, revenue cycle management, and cost control.
• Proven expertise in strategic planning, business development, and corporate finance operations.
• Strong leadership skills with experience supervising diverse teams within senior leadership roles.
• Proficiency in financial software systems used for modeling, reporting, and analysis.
• Deep understanding of regulatory frameworks such as IAS/IFRS/GAAP/ASC 606/ COSO standards.
• Excellent negotiation skills coupled with a proactive approach to risk management.
