Director Institutional Investment Consulting

ADP is hiring a Director Institutional Investment Consulting to manage fiduciary advice products and the team delivering our advice services, including ADP Strategic Plan Services (SPS) 3(21) custom plans and the 3(21) auto‑execute service.

Responsibilities
  • Lead a group of experienced investment consultants who provide advice to retirement plans up to $300million, develop associates, set performance objectives, and provide training and feedback.
  • Review and improve onboarding and ongoing advisory service procedures to increase efficiency and client satisfaction; implement new procedures.
  • Oversee reporting of investment performance and monitoring of all managed investment products against benchmark indices.
  • Assist the SPS President in testing new investment providers, reports, and systems, and develop new fiduciary products and services.
  • Serve as backup for the SPS President on fiduciary reporting and regulatory issues.
Qualifications
  • 15+ years of experience in investment services in a similar role.
  • NASD Series6 and 63 Securities Licenses.
  • Strong leadership with a track record of managing, training, motivating, and retaining investment professionals.
  • Expertise in selecting competitive investment products and monitoring/reporting on these products.
  • Excellent communication skills with internal and external clients.
  • Understanding of fiduciary risk and its mitigation.
  • Experience coordinating and documenting fund changes across multiple investment sleeves.
  • Experience presenting to senior leaders and collaborating across functions.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and internet applications.
  • Demonstrated project management experience.
  • Ability to travel up to 15%.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
Preferred / Additional Qualifications
  • Experience with Morningstar Direct.
  • CMFC, CRPS, CFP, or CFA designation.
  • MBA.
  • PMP or similar project management certification.
Compensation & Benefits

Base salary range: $94,700 – $192,100 per year. Additional compensation may include bonus, equity, or commissions.
