What is cervical cancer?

Cervical cancer is a type of cancer that begins in the cells lining the cervix, which is the lower part of the uterus connecting to the vagina. It is most often caused by persistent infection with certain types of human papillomavirus (HPV), a common sexually transmitted infection. Early stages of cervical cancer may not cause symptoms, but as it progresses, symptoms like abnormal vaginal bleeding, pelvic pain, or pain during intercourse may occur. Regular screening and HPV vaccination can significantly reduce the risk of developing cervical cancer.

We're replacing the in-office pap smear with a cervical cancer screening that is comfortable, convenient, and designed for women. Teal Health's solution includes a patented Teal Wand collection device and a modern telehealth platform to make it easy for women to speak with a doctor, screen at home and understand their results.

  • Lead product strategy and execution for Teal's B2B healthcare partner workflows and integrations
  • Partner closely with healthcare systems, insurance partners, clinical stakeholders, and operations teams to design scalable product solutions that meet partner needs
  • Translate complex healthcare and operational requirements into intuitive, scalable product experiences and workflows
  • Build and optimize systems that support enterprise healthcare partnerships, operational efficiency, and patient experience
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Design, Clinical, Operations, Partnerships, and Leadership teams to define priorities and deliver impactful solutions
  • Use customer insights, operational metrics, and experimentation to drive product decisions and continuous improvement
  • Support optimization of consumer-facing purchasing and onboarding experiences across Teal's commercial platform
  • Contribute to internal tooling and workflow improvements that enable operational scale as the company grows

What We're looking for:
Required:

  • Experience building products that support healthcare systems, payer workflows, enterprise healthcare operations, or B2B SaaS/platform workflows
  • Strong ability to navigate ambiguity and drive alignment across technical, operational, and business stakeholders
  • Experience working cross-functionally in fast-paced startup or growth-stage environments
  • Strong product intuition paired with analytical and systems-thinking skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Passion for improving healthcare experiences and outcomes for women

Preferred:
  • Experience with healthcare operations, clinical workflows, or HIPAA-regulated products
  • Experience supporting consumer-facing healthcare or e-commerce experiences
  • Experience building internal operational tooling or workflow systems
  • Familiarity with payer integrations, care coordination, or enterprise healthcare onboarding workflows
  • Experience utilizing Jira, Figma, and analytical tools.

Location: This is a hybrid role based in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Benefits:
Benefits may include:
  • Equity compensation
  • Health, dental, and vision insurance
  • HSA / FSA options
  • 401(k)
  • Parental leave
  • Flexible PTO
  • Professional development support
