Job description

Summary
CTC Group has a new and exciting opportunity for Linux Systems Administrators to maintain and secure Linux-based systems, support Cisco and Palo Alto network infrastructure, automate system administration tasks using Ansible, Bash, and Python, and perform vulnerability remediation and IAVA patching within a classified environment
Location: Annapolis Junction / Ft. Meade
Responsibilities
  • Maintain, configure, monitor, and troubleshoot Linux-based systems supporting mission-critical operations within a classified government environment.
  • Configure and support Cisco and Palo Alto networking equipment, including troubleshooting network connectivity and performance issues.
  • Manage virtualized environments and support IPsec, VPN tunneling, and other secure network communications.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain automation solutions using Ansible, including writing and deploying playbooks.
  • Create and maintain Bash and Python scripts to automate system administration, configuration, monitoring, and maintenance activities.
  • Support Secure the Enterprise and Secure the Network activities, including Nessus scanning and other high-side security tools.
  • Perform IAVA patching, vulnerability remediation, system hardening, and security compliance activities.
  • Install, cable, document, and maintain physical infrastructure, including rack-and-stack activities for servers and networking equipment.
  • Create and maintain accurate system, network, configuration, and operational documentation.
  • Support containerized environments using technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex Linux, networking, virtualization, hardware, and software issues to maintain reliable mission operations.

Requirements
  • Active TS/SCI with polygraph security clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
    • Five (5) years of additional SA experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.

Level 1 Qualifications
  • Five (5) years experience as a SA in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
  • CWIP IAT Level I
  • Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MSCA) or Redhat Certified System Administrator(RHCSA) certified.
  • One of the following certifications: A+, Network+, or System Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP)

Level 2 Qualifications
  • Ten (10) years experience as a SA in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
  • CWIP IAT Level II
  • 3+ years of experience performing duties at or equivalent to an IAT level position under the CWIP (DoD 8570/8140 framework).
  • Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MSCA) or Redhat Certified Engineer(RHCE) certified.
  • One of the following certifications: A+, Network+, or System Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP).

Level 3 Qualifications
  • Fifteen (15) years experience as a SA in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
  • CWIP IAT Level III
  • 7+ years of experience performing duties at or equivalent to an IAT level position under the CWIP (DoD 8570/8140 framework).
  • Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MSCA) or Redhat Certified Architect(RHCA) certified.
  • One of the following certifications: A+, Network+, or System Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP).

Pay Information
The final salary may be influenced by various factors, such as location, labor categories, experience, education, and/or certifications. CTC also provides a variety of benefits as well as opportunities for continuous education and development.
The estimated salary range for this position is $150,000 - $190,000.
