This role maintains the flow of materials, inventory, and shipments to ensure products and supplies are available when needed. This role coordinates transportation, monitors inventory levels, supports warehouse operations. Logistics Coordinator reports directly to the Logistics Supervisor.

Position Overview
As part of the Logistics Team, the Logistics Associate I plays a critical role in producing high-quality transformers efficiently and safely. This role operates within a dynamic and collaborative manufacturing environment where teamwork, integrity, and respect are highly valued. The Logistics Associate I will work both independently and as part of a team to ensure product quality and adherence to safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Logistics workflow
  • Evaluate incoming orders and organize shipping and receiving activities accordingly
  • Help keep operations running smoothly and on schedule
  • Maintain knowledge of product specifications and production/logistics standards

Training and Safety
  • Fork truck certification
  • Observe all safety rules and guidelines
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly work environment

Documentation and Reporting
  • Perform recordkeeping tasks, including inventory management and order tracking
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure orders are completed on time
  • Communicate effectively with leads, supervisors, and team members
  • Perform pre-shift and post-shift duties each day

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 3 hours continuously, between breaks).
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds for line tasks and packing duties.
  • Ability to move within the production area to communicate with other team members and supervisors.
  • Ability to read and understand safety data sheets (SDS) and chemical labels in English.
  • Strong communication skills in English, both for daily operations and during emergencies.

Job Requirements
  • Technical Skills
    • Proficient in using hand tools and measuring instruments such as a machinist's scale, tape measure, and dial calipers to within specified tolerances.
    • Capable of reading and interpreting Bills of Materials (BOM) and Order Management Sheets (OMS).
    • Knowledge of dispensing machine operations and equipment maintenance.
  • Core Competencies
    • Excellent time management and organizational skills to ensure timely completion of tasks.
    • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and communicate effectively within a team.
    • Ability to observe and follow safety standards to maintain a secure working environment.
    • Must be reliable, punctual, and maintain consistent attendance.

Protective Equipment
  • Certified safety glasses or side shields for prescription glasses.
  • Nitrile gloves for handling chemicals.
  • Anti-slip, steel-toed shoes are mandatory.
  • Rubber (anti-fatigue) mats are provided for each workstation.

Schedule
  • Mon-Thurs. 5:00AM - 3:30PM and occasional Fridays
