Job description

Snelling Staffing is looking for a cook for a small, local deli in the Baton Rouge area. The store specializes in creole food and is looking to make an immediate hire! While line experience is preferred, those with a passion for cooking will be considered. Position hours will be 7:00am-2:00pm Tuesday through Saturday. Pay for the position is $15-$16 per hour.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Prepare workstations, ingredients, and kitchen equipment for cooking
  • Maintain the quality of food and safety standards
  • Assist in managing food storage and inventory orders
  • Cook large batches of food for deli-style serving

Job Requirements:
  • Previous cook/line cook experience is REQUIRED!
  • ServSafe certification is GREATLY PREFERRED!
