Job description

Locum General Surgeon Opportunity Tiffin, Ohio

Seeking a Board-Certified General Surgeon to provide hospital-based call coverage.

Position Details:

  • Coverage needed approximately 7 10 days per month (specific April dates currently identified)

  • Hospital-based general surgery call coverage

  • Sole general surgeon on call during assigned shifts

  • Average of 2 surgical cases per day

  • Non-trauma facility

  • Adult and geriatric patient population

  • Five operating rooms with experienced OR staff

  • EMR: Epic

Required Procedures:

  • Adult general surgery cases

  • Laparoscopic cholecystectomy

  • GI endoscopy including colonoscopy and upper endoscopy

Requirements:

  • Board Certified in General Surgery

  • Active Ohio medical license

  • ACLS certification

  • Current NPDB Self-Query report dated within 30 days of presentation

  • Providers must specify available dates at time of submission

Travel expenses are covered per facility guidelines.
