About the role
The Health Coach Certification Practical Skills Instructor will join the synchronous coaching team for mindbodygreen's Health Coach Certification program and will conduct 1:1 student guidance in (3) Practical Skill Assessment windows during our 20-week cohorts.
The ideal candidate works creatively and efficiently to ensure content standards are upheld, while also ensuring adherence to our established program style and standards for grading Practical Skills Assessments in our Health Coach Certification program.
The candidate must be NBHWC certified coach and have 200 demonstrated hours of health coaching completed after becoming board-certified. If you do not have both of these qualifications, please do not apply.
Responsibilities
  • Conduct 1:1 Practical Skills Assessment sessions with students for (3) PSA windows during our 20-week cohorts. This includes: watching student-submitted video of them coaching a client, grading that student using our board-approved program Practical Skills Assessment Rubric, and then meeting for 20 minutes with each student to provide feedback based on the rubric you completed.
  • Provide regular feedback on how to continuously improve the program based on student interaction.

  • Completed 200 hours of coaching sessions after becoming board certified
  • Familiarity and comfort with teaching NBHWC's core curriculum
