The Account Manager, Natural Resources (Oil & Gas) will assist the Account Executive and Producer with marketing and servicing of new and renewal business. They also will help coordinate with production team and insurance carriers to facilitate a successful client renewal while also managing administrative functions for assigned team.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Discuss renewal strategy with Account Executive both internally and with clients
  • Responsible for all account service functions from the start of the renewal process including, but not limited to:
  • Obtaining necessary renewal materials including any applications and supplemental information required for underwriting purposes (e.g., audited financial statements, organizational charts, etc.)
  • Work with the clients on completion and return of submission materials according to pre-agreed timelines
  • Coordinate the client submission materials for distribution to insurance carriers / underwriters
  • Provide support in obtaining insurance carrier quotes and binders, subjectivities and reviewing for accuracy
  • Assistance with paperwork needed for requisite filings such as surplus lines taxes (only applicable to non-admitted carriers included on client programs)
  • Assist in the creation of client presentations, proposals and renewal summaries
  • Prepare for renewal outputs:
    • Review certificate holder list and provide to client for validation
    • Confirm any manuscript certificates needed
    • Understand Auto ID Cards distribution process for clients
    • Determine Work Comp Posting needs and how to distribute
  • Send quotes to client and obtain bind order as needed
  • Determine if Premium Financing is needed and obtain quotes
  • Create Policy file in shared drive once binders come in
  • Send binders to client with list of subjectivities, input into EPIC and send to CAC Binders for data collection
  • Manage billing process
  • Follow up with carriers for policies and ensure accuracy
  • Send checked policies to client, place copies in EPIC and send to CAC Policies for data collection
  • Maintain shared drive of key documents (i.e policies, endorsements, invoices, Autos ID Cards, Certificates, Audits etc.)
  • Monitor expiration dates of all policies, including fees
  • Manage ad hoc requests for certificates, auto id cards, endorsements
  • New clients
    • Set up in EPIC
    • Work with Brokers to obtain copies of policies from carriers
    • Request and review prior brokers Schedule of Insurance, recreate from CAC
    • Request and review Certificate copies and an Excel schedule, update as needed and import into CAC system
    • Request and review Auto ID Cards
  • Develop and maintain account handling instructions with claims associates
  • Ensure accounting /payment of premium is timely

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 3-5 years of relevant work experience required
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • High level of professionalism and confidentiality
