Job description

Centrally located in Gardena, California, West Gardena Post-Acute provides rehabilitation services, skilled nursing, and long-term care. Our compassionate staff offers individualized care plans for each resident to ensure personalized care is provided to all our patients with a goal to return home.

Our team of qualified professionals provides compassionate care by: maintaining high medical integrity, fostering a team spirit among staff, creating friendly, beautiful surroundings for our residents and their visitors.

We understand the importance of creating a comfortable and nurturing atmosphere, whether residents stay for short-term treatment or long-term care.

We are looking for a full-time caring and dedicated CNA for PM shift (3PM-11PM). This is a full-time 4-2 rotating schedule, must be available on weekends and holidays. We offer competitive wages and benefits to the right candidate.

Experience strongly preferred.

$750 signing bonus. Half paid after 90 days and half paid after 6 months.

Responsibilities:

- Assist residents with activities of daily living to include: bathing, dressing, grooming and toileting.

- Transfer residents to and from activities and meals according to their individual service plans.

- Serve meals to residents in the dining room or their apartments.

- Record and report changes in residents' eating habits to supervisor.

- Promote quality services within company, state and federal regulations.

Qualifications:

- Current CA nursing assistant certification

- Current CPR certification from American Heart Assosiation or Red Cross. Online course certification not accepted,
