Position Summary:
The Project Manager oversees projects. They work with the Operations Manager and field staff to keep the project on schedule and on budget. Project managers are to be in the field coordinating the work of electrical testing/maintenance projects.
Responsibilities
  • Manage several projects at a time.
  • Develop general scheduling of project.
  • Customer liaison for EPS.
  • Work with Sales Managers to improve and direct conversations with customers on each project.
  • Develop general work plan for project.
  • Communicate and Coordinate with customer scheduling, conflicts and concerns, reports, out of scope issues, change orders, and/or status.
  • Provide general incite / direction for each job.
  • Ability to conduct technical and safety training for personnel.
  • Coordinate and verify testing and safety procedures are being adhered to by office engineers and technicians.
  • Perform weekly reviews of work completed and work scheduled
  • Provide support for onsite project staff, and responsible Operations Manager.
  • Perform quality check for completeness of work performed on job.
  • Determine any additional change orders needed and arrange such with the sales managers or operation manager to provide information and time to submit for customer approval.
  • Manage budget within given information per project.
  • Support Operations Manager
  • Help source and provide personnel and equipment to meet project schedule
  • Collect and review documentation/field reports
  • Mentor new employees

Qualifications
Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
  • Complete a satisfactory criminal background check.
  • Able to work overtime and travel out of town for periods of time.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and currently have and be able to maintain a good driving record.

Preferred Skills/Abilities:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience installing, maintaining, testing, or repairing circuit breakers, transformers, switchgear, or similar equipment.

Education and Experience:
  • 5+ Years of Relevant Industry Experience
  • Bachelor's or associate degree in Electrical/Electronic technology, or Military experience preferred
  • NETA certified a plus

Physical Requirements:
  • Able to climb ladders, stand for extended periods, able to lift 70 lbs.
