About the Role:

As a Program Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the PMO's operations and driving continuous improvement across project management processes, procedures, and templates. You will lead the PMO unit, manage a portfolio of strategic projects from initiation through closure, and serve as the first point of escalation for PMO-related issues. This role requires a strong combination of leadership, operational discipline, and client focus to ensure project success and organizational effectiveness.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and continuously improve PMO processes, procedures, and templates to drive consistency and best practices across the team
  • Manage projects from initiation through closure, ensuring adherence to scope, budget, and timelines while maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction. Target billable utilization of 40-50%,
  • Develop and optimize quarterly PS/PMO efficiency reports for senior leadership covering project health, CSAT, revenue forecast, gaps, and opportunities for improvement
  • Accountable for leading, providing updates and reporting on internal initiatives
  • Assign incoming projects to team members and oversee project set-up in Business Central, including invoicing and forecast projections
  • Proactively flag project risks and escalate yellow or red-status projects to leadership for discussion and resolution
  • Support month-end project tracking, revenue recognition, and reconciliation
  • Maintain accurate and timely time tracking for project resources to support forecasting and month-end processes
  • Support resource forecasting, including soft and hard bookings, and support with scheduling visibility and planning
  • Serve as the first line of PMO escalation for project process adherence and client escalations
  • Manage relationships with clients and internal stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and expectation management throughout the program lifecycle
  • Translate strategic goals into detailed workplans, ensuring teams have clear direction and prioritized tasks


Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of progressive program management experience, preferably in a cybersecurity or managed services environment
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent required; CSM (Certified Scrum Master) certification is an asset
  • Degree in project management, business administration, or a related field
  • Strong negotiation skills to negotiate resources, changes, issues, budgets, and timelines
  • Solid understanding of PMI project management best practices and methodologies
  • Effective communication, in both oral and written formats, with exceptional ability to build professional relationships
  • Detail and results-oriented with a high willingness and motivation to learn
  • Excellent organization and time management skills resulting in efficient execution of tasks
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize conflicting priorities to meet objectives
  • Demonstrated experience managing or leading a team, with the ability to mentor, motivate, and develop project management talent
  • Cybersecurity industry knowledge and/or experience is strongly preferred
