This on-site, contract position offers a unique opportunity to provide high-quality care and support to our patients while working in a collaborative healthcare environment. As a Locum Ob/Gyn, you will play a crucial role in our team by delivering comprehensive obstetric and gynecological services, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining the highest standards of medical practice. Your expertise will directly impact the health and well‐being of our community, and you will have the chance to engage in various projects and initiatives that enhance patient care.
Responsibilities
Provide high-quality obstetric and gynecological care to patients Conduct thorough examinations and diagnose medical conditions Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs Perform necessary surgical procedures and interventions as required Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records Educate patients on health management and preventive care Participate in continuous professional development and training Requirements Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree Current medical license to practice in the state of practice Completion of an accredited residency program in Obstetrics and Gynecology Strong clinical skills in obstetric and gynecological care Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment Strong commitment to patient safety and quality care Availability to work flexible hours as needed Schedule: Thursday-Monday (7:30p-7:30a), 2 weekends per month Covering L&D, ED, and GYN inpatients Required Skillsets: Low-risk pregnancy, high-risk pregnancy, OB ultrasounds, routine and complicated deliveries, VBACs, surgical gynecology, and procedures Will supervise CNM EMR: Cerner Must be board-certified Paid travel & expenses
