Advanced Practice Provider (Emergency Medicine)

Join our dynamic team of emergency physicians and advanced practice providers. This is for an on-site role for an Advanced Practice Provider (Emergency Medicine) at DEMI Healthcare Partners. As an Advanced Practice Provider, you will play an integral role in our care teams, delivering high-quality care to our patients.

Nurse practitioners and physician assistants with experience in emergency medicine are encouraged to apply. Experience preferred but will train a motivated new graduate.

  • Facility: Fort Memorial Hospital (Emergency Department)
  • Address: 611 Sherman Ave E, Fort Atkinson, WI 53538
  • Annual Visits: 26k (25% Urgent Care)
  • EMR: Cerner
  • Consult Services Available: ENT, Orthopedics, General Surgery, Pediatrics, and OB/GYN. Cardiology is available 24/7 for phone consultation but does not come on site to see patients.
  • Transfers occur for patients needing specialty services, including Neurology, Urology, Cardiology, Nephrology, Trauma, and Oncology.

Job Description
  • Evaluate and manage patients presenting low and moderate levels of acuity
  • Perform all aspects of patient care, including diagnosis, treatments, and consultations
  • Perform independently/as part of a treatment team
  • Interpret medical test results (including EKG's, x-rays, & lab tests)
  • Perform a wide range of bedside clinical procedures
