Medical Laboratory Technician - MLT
MLT Details:
  • Full-time (80 hours per pay period)
  • PM Shift
  • Monday through Friday, rotating weekends and holidays
  • Flexibility to cover other shifts as needed
MLT Responsibilities:
  • Accurately procure and manage specimens in a timely manner.
  • Ensure quality service during the pre-analytic phase, including the preparation of reagents, specimens, quality control materials, and supplies, while understanding testing procedures.
  • Maintain quality in the post-analytic phase, addressing remedial actions, corrective measures, and necessary documentation.
  • Maintain accurate departmental records, reports, statistics, logs, and files.
MLT Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in medical technology or clinical laboratory science from an accredited four-year college.
  • ASCP qualifier and able to obtain within 6 months of hire.
  • BLS certification must be obtained within one year of hire.
