Hospital in South Texas is recruiting an Interventional Cardiologist to join its team. Practice is located in the Medical Arts Pavilion connected to the hospital - a short walk to the Hospital's Cath Lab. Clinic operates Monday - Friday and you will average 25 patients in clinic per day and average of 10-15 surgeries per week initially. On call schedule determined by group in coordination with Hospital. Cardiology on-call panel includes 10 other providers.
Hospital Employee .  Minimal Call Ratio.   Annual Salary.  Signing Bonus available, contact us for details.  Relocation Bonus available.  CME time and money available.  4 Cath Lab Suites (Cardiac, EP & Neuro capabilities).  Medical Center has a robust Clinical Research Department available for proposed research at the hospital.  Academic and teaching opportunities available .  Trauma Level II (ACS Verified).  DNV Comprehensive Stroke Center.  586 licensed beds.  EMR - Cerner.  Spanish-speaking skills a plus but are not required.  Year-round semi-tropical weather.  No state income tax / tort reform.  Lowest cost of living in the U.S..  Great schools / affordable housing.  The Rio Grande Valley is home to 1.5 million residents who enjoy year-round Golfing, hunting, birding, fishing, boating and much more.
