Job description

Summary

Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) / Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) opportunity at a 24-hour Critical Access Hospital in Southern Minnesota. The role involves laboratory testing, blood bank responsibilities, phlebotomy, and supporting patient care in a community hospital setting. Ideal for experienced laboratory professionals seeking a stable weekday schedule.


Requirements

  • MLT or MLS Certification through ASCP
  • AHA BLS Certification required at submission
  • Phlebotomy experience required
  • Blood Bank experience required
  • 5+ years of laboratory experience preferred
  • Experience with Cerner EMR preferred
  • Ability to respond within 30 minutes when on call


Pay

MLT:

  • $25.92 – $37.73/hour

MLS:

  • $30.04 – $44.52/hour

Compensation based on experience.


Shift

  • Full-Time (40 hours/week)
  • Monday – Thursday
  • 10:00 AM – 8:30 PM
  • Occasional weekend rotation
  • Rotating holiday coverage
  • Occasional on-call responsibilities
