In the role ofย Analytical Microbiological Specialistย working inย Albany, GAย you will be part of theย Quality Departmentย in Brewery Operations. You will perform a variety of basic microbiological or chemical and physical analyses on products, raw materials, in-process materials per MillerCoors quality system requirements.ย ย 

This position reports to theย Unit Manager - Quality Process Labย and works closely with Brewing & Packaging Operational Teams.ย 

What You'll Be Brewing:ย 

  • Performs, interprets and evaluates chemical and microbiological analysesย ย 
  • Develops, trends and summarizes analytical and microbiological informationย 
  • Monitors, calibrates and maintains laboratory equipment and ensures appropriate levels of quality suppliesย 
  • Facilitates quality improvement and problem solvingย 

Key Ingredients:ย 

  • You are able to work rotational shifts (rotate between 1st, 2nd and 3rd shift every 3-4 months)ย and some weekendsย 
  • Possess a proven track record of achievement in a high speed, high volume manufacturing environmentย 
  • Demonstrable evidence of driving World Class Supply Initiatives to deliver on challenging objectivesย ย 
  • You are confident and competent. You are diplomatic, professional and exercise great judgment in developing and maintaining excellent business relationships within the businessย ย 
  • You have a Bachelor's degree in a science related field of study or extensive micro laboratory/brewing experience (Preferred degrees in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Cereal Science, Microbiology, Food Science, Agronomy, and Chemical Engineering).ย 
  • You have at least 2 years' experience in quality related processesย 
  • You have knowledge of the principles and techniques of microbiology and chemistryย 
  • You exhibit knowledge of laboratory equipment, instrument maintenance, calibration and trouble shootingย 
  • You have working knowledge of statistical methods and computer skillsย

Pay and Benefits:
At Molson Coors, we're committed to paying people fairly and equitably for the work they do.


Job Posting Total Rewardsย Offerings: $58,700.00ย -ย $77,100.00ย (posting salary range) +ย 10%ย target short term incentiveย +ย $23,000ย on average spent on benefits per employee, including but not limited to health, dental, vision, retirement with above market employer match, wellness incentives and EAP + paid time off (including holidays, vacation days and sick days).
