Since 1927, it has been home to one of our largest manufacturing facilities. Originally focused on cereal production, the factory transitioned to become a pet food-only manufacturer in the late '90s.

Today, it holds the distinction of being the largest pet food manufacturing facility in the U.S. With utmost care, our dedicated team in Davenport produces, packages, and ships a wide range of our beloved brands including Dog Chow, Puppy Chow, Alpo, Beneful, Purina ONE, Cat Chow, Friskies, and Kit N Kaboodle.As a Maintenance Mechanic, you are responsible for the preventative mechanical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of all mechanical equipment in the factory. You will follow plant sanitation practices and procedures while staying informed of new technology and equipment as it pertains to plant operations.

Working in a safe manner at all times, you will play a major role in machine reliability and process improvements across the plant.
