We are searching for a talented Lead Central Service Tech

Hours: 40hrs

Shift: Evening shift with weekend, holiday, On Call rotation

Location: Charlton Memorial Hospital - Fall River, MA

ResponsibilitiesUnder general supervision of the Manager, Central Processing or designee, perform a variety of duties within and in support of the Central Processing Department including, but not limited to, performing all responsibilities of the Certified Central Service Technician and assuming responsibilities for inventory management and equipment repair. Serve as resource to Technical staff. Collaborate with Manager and Team Leader to identify educational needs, develop training programs and lead training of staff. Assist with department process planning and control for staffing, training and supervision.Qualifications
  • Equal to completion of high school plus additional courses or training.
  • Successful completion of Central Service training course with Certification in Central Services Technology (CRCST) required.
  •  Prior hospital experience is preferred. Computer skills are required.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and critical decision-making skills are required.
  • Over three (3) years experience in Central Service required.
  • Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired. 

  • Compensation: Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience.
