Job Summary
We are seeking a Reliability & Central Maintenance Superintendent for a direct hire opportunity in Texarkana, TX. This role is ideal for an experienced maintenance and reliability leader who can drive safety, improve equipment uptime, and lead maintenance teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
The Reliability & Central Maintenance Superintendent will provide leadership across facility maintenance, HVAC, roll shop, forklifts, cranes, air compressors, and reliability functions. This position plays a key role in shifting the maintenance organization from reactive response to proactive, predictive, and reliability-centered maintenance.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead maintenance and reliability teams with a strong focus on safety, accountability, training, and efficient execution of work.
- Drive proactive maintenance improvements through predictive maintenance tools, reliability processes, and equipment monitoring practices.
- Respond quickly to unplanned equipment interruptions, breakdowns, and outage needs while supporting long-term reliability improvements.
- Partner with engineering on new equipment purchases to ensure predictive tools, monitoring, and maintainability are considered in equipment design.
- Oversee preventive maintenance, work orders, mill services scheduling, crane outages, and planned maintenance activities.
- Identify waste, reduce maintenance costs, improve equipment reliability, and support quality through precision maintenance practices.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary range: $95,000 to $150,000 per year.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Lead reliability and central maintenance operations across building and facility needs, HVAC, roll shop, forklifts, cranes, air compressors, and related plant systems.
- Implement predictive and preventive maintenance strategies to improve equipment uptime and reduce reactive maintenance.
- Manage maintenance response, outage planning, preventive maintenance completion, and work order execution.
- Provide technical leadership to maintenance teams while supporting safety, quality, cost reduction, and operational performance.
- Associate degree with 4 years of maintenance experience, or 8 years of maintenance experience required.
- 4 years of supervisory or leadership experience required.
- Strong operational knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment capability, maintenance practices, and plant systems.
- Experience using reliability tools, preventive maintenance programs, work orders, and maintenance metrics.
- Ability to understand equipment functions, provide technical expertise, and support precision maintenance requirements.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with employees, teams, customers, visitors, and leaders at all levels.
- Ability to work flexible hours as required.
- Commitment to maintaining 100 percent safety compliance and supporting an injury-free workplace.
Preferred Qualifications
- Maintenance experience in aluminum manufacturing preferred.
- Molten metal, melting, casting, or rolling mill maintenance experience preferred.
- Electrical, mechanical, or hydraulic maintenance experience preferred.
- Experience supporting cranes, forklifts, HVAC, air compressors, roll shop equipment, and facility systems is a plus.
