Job description

JOB DESCRIPTION:
SUMMARY OF POSITION
Responsible for greeting and checking patients in and out of clinic, via in-person or on the phone. Schedules patient appointments, takes client payment information, filing and other front desk tasks.
Compensation: $15.50-$17.11 per hour, based on relevant clinical office experience
Location: Vero Center, located near the Nashville International Airport
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week. Regular hours are 8:00 AM-5:00 PM, with two evenings per week extending until 7:00 PM. On the two late days, the start time will be adjusted to a later morning to maintain a 40-hour workweek.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Maintains schedules of clinical staff.
  • Entry and verification of client data
  • Collects copayments
  • Responsible for technology support for telehealth appointments
  • Answers multi-line phone
  • Registration of clients in the electronic medical record
  • Excellent Customer Service to promote a service environments for individuals in need of behavioral health and/or co-occurring services that is recovery focused
  • Research and verification of insurance benefits and knowledge to apply for alternative payer sources
  • Prepare and scan documents to internal HIM
  • Cross train and perform duties to cover neighboring locations

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
  • Effectively communicate via written, verbal, in person and virtual methods.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education Level:
High school diploma or GED required
Certification/Licensure
Valid and unrestricted driver's license is required with at least 3 years of driving history.
