Capture Management Senior Manager
Location: Fort Worth TX
What You Will Be Doing
The individual selected for this position will support Aeronautics' new business pursuits and keep sold efforts in the CENTCOM, AFRICOM, SOUTHCOM and Canada regions. They will serve as Aeronautics' knowledge resource for these countries' military and industrial profile, including key decision-makers and influencers. They will also lead internal Lockheed Martin teams in executing a portfolio of projects, including creation of briefings, information responses, and white papers used to educate senior government and industry leaders, while ensuring compliance with all Business Development processes, policies and procedures. They will work closely with the Lockheed Martin enterprise strategy teams, other Lockheed Martin business areas, and our international offices to align capture and pursuit priorities across the corporation.
The selected individual will be responsible for assisting the Director, Global Pursuits CENTCOM, AFRICOM, SOUTHCOM and Canada in developing strategic approaches for the region and coordinating cross-regional and cross-organizational approaches to targeted regional projects. They will establish and maintain effective working relationships between Global Pursuits and other departments within the organization to ensure that mutual objectives are met. Specifically, this individual will also support the Director with oversight of the Americas and the development of an effective strategy for Sub-Saharan Africa.
Leads capture efforts to secure new or re-compete contracts, or task order business. Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions. Has accountability to shape and win new business through a balanced focus on customer value, the competitive environment, and the corporation's best interests. Develops capture strategy including business solution for pursuit of opportunities; identifies potential customers, competitive assessments, teaming suppliers, and prices-to-win; participates in bid and proposal activities. Has responsibility to lead and integrate the assigned cross-functional team and authority to direct team activities for the duration of the pursuit. Maintains ongoing interaction with business development.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- Experience with USG Foreign Military Sales
(FMS) and Direct Commercial Sales (DCS)
program/contracting processes
- Experience with African, Latin American and Middle Eastern customer priorities and defense budgeting processes
- Experience crafting and delivering effective
presentations for senior management and high- level customers
Desired Skills
- Experience managing a diverse portfolio of
customers and/or cultures
- Familiarity with Lockheed Martin Aeronautics' products and strategy
- Ability to quickly grasp technology concepts
and communicate their value to customers
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $158700.00 - $294700.00

  • For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
