Job description

We are seeking a compassionate, career-oriented Cemetery Administrator to support our in-office operations. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, organized, and committed to delivering exceptional service to families during their time of need. This role requires professionalism, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update electronic records using industry-specific databases.
  • Ensure reliable transportation for occasional travel between locations.
  • Provide broad administrative support across departments as needed, including at our other west-side facility.
  • Review and submit orders promptly and accurately.
  • Produce daily activity reports for the location, including all transactions for the day.
  • Handle basic accounts receivable tasks, including conveying open balances to clients and sales staff.
  • Communicate with families, internal staff, and external partners with empathy and professionalism.
  • Create and maintain client files and reference documents.

Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Outlook) and general computer proficiency.
  • Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
  • Effective time management and ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Clear, compassionate communication skills.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving ability.
  • Professionalism, integrity, and discretion in sensitive situations.

Required Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
