About the Role
Key Management Services is seeking a seasoned Cementing Supervisor to oversee multiple cementing units operating across the mid-continent region and beyond. Operations are based out of the Tulsa, Oklahoma area, but candidates from any location are welcome to apply.
The Cementing Supervisor is responsible for directing and managing cementing crews across multiple rigs, coordinating with the Oklahoma Corporation Commission (OCC), managing supply and inventory, and ensuring all paperwork and reporting requirements are met. This role requires deep cementing operations knowledge, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage people and logistics across multiple locations simultaneously.
This position requires significant travel, including extended assignments lasting several weeks or more in states across the region. Weekend work is required as dictated by operational needs. Company-provided housing and per diem are furnished during all travel assignments.
Compensation
โข Base Salary: $85,000โ$90,000/year
โข Pay Schedule: Semi-monthly on the 1st and 15th
โข Bonus Structure: Eligible for performance-based bonuses tied to company performance and project milestones
โข On-Target Earnings (OTE): $120,000/year

Responsibilities
Operations Management
โข Oversee and direct multiple cementing crews (Operators and Hands) across concurrent job sites
โข Plan and schedule cementing operations in coordination with operators and client representatives
โข Ensure all cementing jobs are executed safely, on time, and to specification
โข Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support to Cementing Unit Operators in the field
โข Monitor job performance and implement improvements to operational efficiency
Regulatory & Compliance
โข Coordinate with the Oklahoma Corporation Commission (OCC) on permitting, reporting, and compliance matters
โข Ensure all operations meet regulatory requirements at the state and local level
โข Maintain up-to-date knowledge of OCC regulations and industry standards applicable to cementing operations
โข Prepare and submit required regulatory documentation and reports
Administration & Reporting
โข Review and submit field tickets, job reports, and operational paperwork
โข Manage supply chain and inventory for cementing materials, chemicals, and equipment parts
โข Coordinate procurement of cement, additives, and consumables to ensure crews are fully supplied
โข Track and report on operational metrics, job costs, and crew utilization
Personnel Management
โข Manage, mentor, and evaluate Cementing Unit Operators and Hands
โข Coordinate crew schedules, travel assignments, and time-off requests
โข Conduct performance reviews and identify training and development needs
โข Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and professionalism across all crews
Safety & Quality
โข Enforce company safety policies, SOPs, and regulatory requirements across all job sites
โข Investigate incidents, near-misses, and equipment failures and implement corrective actions
โข Conduct periodic field visits to observe operations and ensure quality and safety standards
โข Ensure all crews maintain current certifications and safety training
Qualifications
Required
โข Minimum 5โ10 years of experience in cementing operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role
โข Deep knowledge of cementing operations, including primary, remedial, squeeze, and plug-and-abandon cementing
โข Experience coordinating with the OCC or equivalent state regulatory bodies
โข Strong organizational and logistics skills with the ability to manage multiple crews and projects simultaneously
โข Proven leadership ability with experience managing field crews
โข Proficiency with operational paperwork, job costing, and reporting
โข Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
โข Valid driverโs license with clean driving record
โข High school diploma or equivalent
โข Current H2S and SafeLand certifications (or willingness to obtain)
Preferred
โข Experience managing supply chain and inventory for oilfield operations
โข Familiarity with mid-continent operations (Oklahoma, Kansas, Texas Panhandle)
โข Well control certification (WellCAP or IADC)
โข CDL (Class A or B)
โข Proficiency with field management software and digital reporting tools
โข Experience scaling operations and onboarding new crews

โข Exposure to weather, uneven terrain, and physical tasks
