Job description

Join Our Commerce City Team as an Experienced Industrial Mechanic!
Weโ€™re looking for a skilled mechanic to join our our Commerce City plant. If you have experience maintaining and repairing high-speed industrial machinery in a production environment, we want to hear from you!
Shift Details:
  • First Shift Hours: 5:00 AM to 1:45 PM, Monday through Friday
  • Second Shift Hours: 2:00 PM to 10:45 PM, Monday through Friday
  • Pay: $31 - $40.00+/hr. Potential for more based on experience.
What Youโ€™ll Do:
  • Perform preventative maintenance on industrial machinery, engines, motors, pneumatic tools, and production machines following manuals, diagrams, and engineering specifications.
  • Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems, including gearboxes and electrical controls.
  • Fabricate repair parts using machine shop instruments and equipment as needed.
  • Provide mechanical maintenance recommendations to improve reliability.
  • Ensure a safe work environment, following PPE and lock-out/tag-out procedures.
  • Operate a forklift (certification required).
  • Perform basic facility repairs, including plumbing, lighting, and HVAC.
  • Work closely with the Maintenance Manager, engineering, and production teams to coordinate repairs.
What Weโ€™re Looking For:
  • Experience: 5+ years in an industrial, manufacturing, or production environment.
  • Skills: Hands-on experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical repairs with strong troubleshooting ability.
  • Education: Associateโ€™s degree or equivalent technical training preferred, or a combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical diagrams.
  • Basic computer skills, including department programs, scanning systems, and touchscreens.
  • Mathematical ability to work with whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
  • Reasoning skills to apply mechanical knowledge in troubleshooting breakdowns.
Physical & Work Environment:
  • Frequent standing, walking, and lifting (up to 50 lbs).
  • Work around moving machinery, loud noise, and varying conditions.
  • Must be comfortable operating a forklift and handling tools.
