Job description

Alliance Services, Inc. is seeking a travel nurse RN CVOR for a travel nursing job in Wausau, Wisconsin.

$500 CONTRACT COMPLETION BONUS

Opportunity:

RN - CVOR

Job Details:

• Work 8-hour various day shifts Monday through Friday
• 40 guaranteed hours per week
• 13-week contract assignment
• On-call responsibilities: 1 night per week, 1 weekend per month, 1 backup per week with potential for additional call
• 30-minute response time to OR required (vehicle required)
• Work every 3rd-4th weekend and holiday rotation
• Must be outside 50-mile radius from facility
• Minimum 3+ years OR experience with anesthesia experience required
• Prior travel experience required
• Required certifications: AHA or ARC BLS, ACLS, Wisconsin RN license or compact RN license
• Associate or bachelor's degree in nursing required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Experience with Cell Saver and Belmont equipment required
• Assigned 4-5 operating rooms per day across 21 ORs including all specialties
• Assist anesthesia providers in cardiothoracic program and various specialties
• Perform conscious sedation, assist with intubations, fiber optic scopes during intubation
• Maintain sterile techniques with central lines, assist with arterial line placement
• Start IVs, draw labs, set up medication pumps, operate Belmont, Cell Saver, and Level I equipment
• Support heart surgeries, trauma cases, elective surgeries, and general surgeries
• Complete 2-week orientation process with additional anesthesia skills training
• Scrub colors provided by facility
• Must wear mask at all times during flu season if declining flu and COVID vaccination
