What is a CDx director?

A CDx Director, or Companion Diagnostics Director, is a senior professional responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of companion diagnostic tests that help determine the suitability of specific therapies for individual patients. They work closely with regulatory agencies, pharmaceutical companies, and laboratory teams to ensure these diagnostics meet clinical and regulatory standards. CDx Directors play a key role in bridging the gap between drug development and personalized medicine, ensuring that patients receive the most effective treatments based on their unique genetic or biomarker profiles.
