Job Summary:
MDAEdge is seeking a Data Solution Analyst who will be responsible for translating functional data and analytical requirements into scalable solutions. The role involves crafting innovative data models and visualizations to enable actionable insights while guiding others in implementing self-service reporting and analytics techniques.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Design and implement logical and physical data models for analytical data stores (e.g., Data Warehouses, Data Lakes).
โ€ข Collaborate with business analysts, data engineers, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and create effective data structures.
โ€ข Conduct data profiling, quality assessments, and cleansing activities to ensure high data integrity.
โ€ข Develop and maintain Source-to-Target mapping documents, detailing complex data transformations and integrations.
โ€ข Ensure compliance with data governance and security policies, while adhering to best practices.
โ€ข Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior team members, including data modelers and data engineers.
Qualifications:
Required:
โ€ข Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
โ€ข Minimum of 5 years of experience in data modeling, covering the entire development lifecycle (requirements to deployment).
โ€ข At least 2 years of experience in designing data structures for Data Warehouses, Data Lakes, or Analytical systems.
