If you're looking for a CDL driving position wherepeople are just as important as the miles you drive, Gordon Food Service has the opportunity for you.

This isn't your typical delivery driver role. While you'll safely operate a Class A commercial vehicle,approximately 80% of this position is focused on customer service and relationship building.You'll become the familiar face our customers count on every week-delivering products, providing outstanding service, and building lasting relationships with restaurants, schools, hospitals, universities, and other foodservice partners.

What You'll Do
  • Safely operate a Class A commercial vehicle on local delivery routes
  • Build strong relationships with customers through friendly, professional service
  • Serve as a trusted representative of Gordon Food Service at every stop
  • Deliver food products while ensuring accuracy and customer satisfaction
  • Unload products using a two-wheel cart and ramp (cases up to 100 lbs.)
  • Complete deliveries efficiently while maintaining a positive customer experience

Whether you're an experienced CDL driver or newly licensed, we'll provide the training and support you need to succeed.

Schedule: Monday - Friday

Start time:5:00 AMuntil route completion

Compensation

$75,000 - $85,000 annually

What We're Looking For

We're looking for drivers who enjoy serving customers just as much as they enjoy driving.

You'll be successful if you have:

  • A passion for providing exceptional customer service
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • A friendly, professional attitude and a customer-first mindset
  • The ability to work independently while representing Gordon Food Service
Qualifications
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Valid Class A CDL at the time of hire
  • Ability to operate a two-wheel cart with loads up to 350 pounds
  • Ability to lift up to 100 pounds throughout the shift
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate in English to safely perform job duties
  • Successfully pass a DOT drug screen (including marijuana) and background check
  • Clean driving record that meets DOT and Gordon Food Service standards
  • Registered with the DOT Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse and able to provide electronic consent
