What You'll Do:
Promote Safety. Take an active role in prioritizing safety for yourself and others at all times. Familiarity with DOT rules, safety procedures,
Drive. Drive a tractor-trailer combination or a tri-axle dump truck to transport and deliver materials.
Inspect and Maintain. Inspect the truck for defects before and after trips. Keep tractor, trailer, tri-axle, tailgate, apron, and dump bed clean of loose material (such as rocks, dirt, etc.) and in good working order. Perform weekly tire inspections.
Submit Reports. Submit a report indicating the truck's condition after trips. Maintain a driver log.
Follow Standard Procedures. Follow and maintain standards set for all equipment. Tarp all loads. Load and unload material safely.
Additional Responsibilities. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Skills You'll Need:
Experience. Related CDL experience as a dump truck driver is preferred.
Ready to Drive. Must possess a valid Class A commercial driver's license. Must pass a DOT physical examination.
Flexibility. Must be willing to work overtime and extended hours depending on customer and company demands. Must be able to work outside in all types of weather conditions and tolerate being exposed to loud noises.
