Description:

Classic Rock is seeking a dependable, safety-focused CDL Class A Driver to join our growing Logistics / Supply Chain team. This position is responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of manufactured stone products while maintaining compliance with all DOT regulations and company safety standards.


Our drivers represent Classic Rock at every customer location. We are looking for individuals who take pride in operating equipment safely, delivering products accurately and on time, and providing exceptional customer service.

CDL Class A Driver

Department: Logistics / Supply Chain

Location: McKees Rocks, PA

Starting Pay: Starting at $31.00 per hour. Compensation is based on experience and qualifications.

Reports To: Logistics Manager

Schedule: Monday through Friday (Hours may vary based on business needs)


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Safely operate a Class A Commercial Motor Vehicle in accordance with all DOT regulations and company policies.
  • Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of all assigned equipment.
  • Maintain compliance with all DOT regulations, including Hours of Service requirements, electronic logging requirements, and company safety policies.
  • Utilize Samsara and other company technology to support Hours of Service compliance, electronic logging, vehicle inspections, communication, and other assigned driver responsibilities.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and overall condition of company vehicles and equipment.
  • Immediately report any vehicle maintenance, repair needs, accidents, injuries, or safety concerns.
  • Safely load and unload materials using a Manitou, Moffett, forklift, or other approved material handling equipment.
  • Transport manufactured stone products and related materials on flatbed trailers.
  • Verify load contents and delivery documentation for accuracy prior to departing the manufacturing facility or distribution location.
  • Safely secure all loads in accordance with DOT requirements and company standards.
  • Inspect load securement throughout the route and make adjustments as necessary to ensure the safe transportation of materials.
  • Complete all required delivery documentation accurately, including delivery photos when required.
  • Deliver products to commercial and residential job sites while providing exceptional customer service.
  • Communicate effectively with Logistics, Customer Service, and customers regarding delivery status, delays, or other issues.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and represent Classic Rock in a positive manner while interacting with customers and the public.
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
  • Current DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate (Medical Card).
  • Must possess and maintain a driving record acceptable to the company's insurance carrier.
  • Must meet all company and insurance eligibility requirements to operate a commercial motor vehicle.
  • Ability to provide a current Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) upon request.
  • Ability to safely lift, carry, push, and pull materials weighing up to 100 pounds.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Three or more years of CDL Class A driving experience preferred.
  • Flatbed delivery experience.

  • Experience delivering building materials or manufactured products.
  • Experience delivering to commercial and residential construction job sites.
  • Experience using Samsara or similar fleet management, electronic logging device (ELD), or GPS fleet tracking systems preferred.
