What You'll Do
  • Deliver lesson plans prepared by the classroom teacher.
  • Foster a positive, safe, and respectful learning environment.
  • Supervise students throughout the school day, including assigned duties.

  • Adapt to different grade levels and subject areas as assigned.
  • Maintain student confidentiality and professional standards.
  • Communicate effectively with school staff and administration.
  • Be available to assist with other instructional needs during planning periods when requested.

Qualifications
Required
  • Valid Colorado Department of Education (CDE) 1-Year Substitute Authorization
  • Successful completion of a criminal background check
  • Ability to work with students of diverse backgrounds and learning needs

Preferred
  • Previous experience working with children or in an educational setting
  • Strong communication, classroom management, and organizational skills
  • Basic technology skills

Physical Requirements
This position requires the ability to move throughout classrooms and school buildings, supervise students indoors and outdoors, respond quickly to student and school safety needs, and perform the physical activities typically associated with a school environment.
