To thrive as a CCTV Security professional, you need a solid understanding of surveillance systems, attention to detail, and usually a high school diploma or equivalent. Familiarity with CCTV monitoring software, digital video recorders (DVRs), and alarm systems is typically required, and some positions may require security guard certification. Strong observation skills, integrity, and effective communication set top performers apart in this field.
