Job description

Traveling Low Voltage / CCTV Technician (Night Shift)

$25 – $38 per hour + Per Diem + Weekly Pay
Nationwide Travel | Retail Security Projects

We are hiring Low Voltage Technicians / CCTV Technicians to install and support security systems, structured cabling, and access control for major retail clients including Walmart and Kroger.

This role is ideal for technicians with CCTV, CAT5/CAT6 cabling, or access control experience who are comfortable with travel and overnight work.

Pay & Benefits

  • $25 – $38 per hour depending on experience

Schedule

Night Shift: Sunday – Thursday
9:00 PM – 6:00 AM

Most work is completed overnight while retail stores are closed.

Travel

  • Travel 2–4 weeks at a time

  • Typically home after the 3rd week

  • Technicians start with personal vehicle (mileage reimbursed)

  • Company vehicle provided after qualifying hours

  • Orientation held in Arkansas

What You'll Do

  • Install CCTV camera systems

  • Run and terminate Cat5 / Cat6 low voltage cabling

  • Install access control systems

  • Support retail security upgrades

  • Install equipment in IDF/MDF cabinets

  • Read blueprints and installation diagrams

  • Work on lifts and ladders when needed

Requirements

2+ years of low voltage / CCTV / cabling experience
Experience with Cat5/Cat6, CCTV, or access control
Valid driver’s license
Reliable transportation
Willing to travel and work night shifts
Basic telecom tools and PPE

Certifications such as BICSI, OSHA, or AVIXA are a plus but not required.
