Job Description The Senior Security Engineer is mainly involved in the development and Engineering of Information security-related infrastructure and applications such as Firewalls, APT, Anti-DDOS, Certificates, IAM, among others.

DUTES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Design and Implement Scalable and secure cloud infrastructure solutions across AWS and GCP.

  • Develop and maintain cloud automation and orchestration scripts related to information security platforms.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve Cloud Security platforms and issues

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize cloud resources and improve system performance

  • Implement and maintain cloud security measures to ensure data protection

  • Identify process gaps and develop tools/automation to streamline the process

  • Lead and are SMEs for Security Platform projects that require integration.

REQUIREMENTS:

Work Experience

  • Minimum of 4-6 years of work experience as a Cloud Engineer building cloud infrastructure resources across public and private clouds providers

  • Experience with containerization technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes

  • Experience in working with multiple IaC scripting languages such as Terraform and Ansible

  • Experience in working with DevOps best practices CI/CD pipeline such as Gitlab Jfrog repositories, etc.

Level of Knowledge

  • Graduate with a B.S. in Computer Science/Engineering or any IT-related course (should be a 4-5 year course).

  • Familiarity with different infrastructure technologies like Red Hat Virtualization, AWS Cloud, GCP, Azure, etc

  • Programming and Systems Integration skills

  • Proficiency in programming languages like Python, Java, or PowerShell

  • Familiarity with CI/CD Pipelines and DevOps Practices

  • Certification on AWS/GCP/Red Hat Linux foundation a must

  • Advantage to have certification on: CCSA/CCSE, CCNA/CCNP, MCSA/MCSE, CISA/CISM/CISSP
