Job Description

A Day in the Life 

  • Investigates and recommends improvements to security posture, identifies common attack patterns threatening the organization's environment, and contributes to the design, implementation, and maintenance of security controls. Leverages project management techniques for successful changes. Uses effective communication skills to consult with customers. Subject matter expert for security related guidelines and regulations. Coaches and mentors' team and organizational users. This position is responsible for general operations of the department including process improvement, setting schedules, resolving conflict, etc.

  • This is a senior-level position for individuals who have met the minimum qualifications.

Qualifications

What’s Required  

  • Bachelor’s degree (preferably IS/Business or healthcare emphasis) with 2 years relevant experience (IS/Business or healthcare)

  • OR Associate’s degree (preferably IS/Business or healthcare emphasis) with 4 years’ relevant experience (IS/Business or healthcare)

  • OR 6 years Healthcare or IS/Business experience

  • CCSA, CCSE, CISA, CISSP, MCSE, MCITP, SANS GIAC Certification - Certification in good standing, related to the duties and responsibilities specified, such as but not limited to CCSA, CCSECISA, CISSP, MCSE, MCITP, SANS GIAC

  • ITIL V3 Foundation preferred
