Quality Resident Engineer|KyungshinLear Sales & Engineering 
DEPARTMENT:       Quality                    
REPORTS TO:          Quality Assistant Manager
CLASSIFICATION:   Non-Exempt
 
About the role

Support on-site customer plants by performing day-to-day rework on Wire Harnesses while negotiating/disputing issues that are categorized as ISD (In System Damage).
Position is in West Point, GA - some limited travel to Montgomery, AL is required.
Responsibilities 

·       Provide assistance and support to prevent serious issues such as downtime or any other inconvenience to customer. 
·       Work with management to improve/provide feedback regarding quality control processes/procedures at manufacturing plants via CCRs, Daily Logs, Group Chats. 
·       Participating in regular staff meetings to discuss quality issues and concerns with customer.
·       Serve as a liaison between management and the customer.
·       Monitor the progress of sorting activities while at the customer facility (ex. VPC, Yard, GA).
·       Ensure company's products and processes meet established quality standards.
·       Identify shortfalls, develop corrective measures, and implement quality control systems.
·       Follow all protocols per customer requirements along with KL Employee Handbook.
Traveling is required
Essential Skills

·       Experience in quality engineering, quality assurance, or a similar role.
·       Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel and PowerPoint. 
·       Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
·       Good interpersonal relationships skills.
Preferred Skills

·       Experience in Manufacturing/Automotive Plant. 
·       Experience with Wire Harnesses.
·       Experience in project management in a team environment.
